Château Soussac is a magnificent 19th century chateau set in 15 acres, 10 of which are the vineyard and the other 5 acres are a beautiful park with spectacular specimen trees and magnolias planted in 1850.
There is a pretty lake and a stunning lakeside pagoda, reached by foot bridge, where guests can enjoy an aperitif as they watch the sun go down over the vineyards of Entre Deux Mers. In the garden there is a large swimming pool and an orchard planted with peach, cherry and pear trees. Guests can wander through the park and gardens, and tour the vineyard. Château Soussac is in the pretty village of Soussac, just 30 minutes from both Sauternes and St. Emilion, and an hour and a half from the Cap Ferret and Arcachon on the coast.
